Crescent Rated Airport Lounges
Explore trusted airport lounges that meet CrescentRating's halal-friendly standards.
Airport lounges in this directory are audited by CrescentRating against the CrescentRating Standard for Airport Lounges (CRS-LNG:2026). The audit looks at what a Muslim passenger needs between flights: a prayer room open around the clock, ablution facilities, Halal food kept clearly apart from food that is not Halal, and staff who can help.
Lounges are rated Bronze, Silver or Gold and hold the highest level whose requirements are all in place. Bronze requires a dedicated private prayer room open 24 hours a day with the Qiblah marked, Halal-certified packaged food assured by management, non-Halal food and alcohol served with clear separation, and staff who can answer questions about Muslim facilities. Silver adds Halal-certified food preparation, prayer mats, separate prayer provision for men and women, and at least one water-friendly toilet for each gender. Gold adds an ablution space and requires that all food and beverages served are Halal.
The rating tells airlines, their members and other travelers what a lounge provides before they book access. For a passenger on a long connection, it can decide which lounge they use, or whether they need to leave the lounge to pray.
Lounge operators can enquire about a rating on the Airport Lounge Rating page. Rated lounges are listed in this directory and on HalalTrip for as long as the rating is valid.
