Halal Media Japan will be hosting the Halal Expo Japan 2016 from 22nd to 23rd November 2016 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Centre Taito-kan in Asakusa. This international event will feature several Halal tourism service providers including businesses related to Halal products and services coming together. The Halal Expo Japan 2016 aims to highlight the importance of the development of Halal tourism not only in Japan and but worldwide as well.
More than 80 exhibitors from different industries related to Halal lifestyle and travel will be part of the exhibition too – with stalls of art, fashion beauty, media, travel and business. A live cooking demonstration with a Singaporean chef is another interesting event to look forward to.
Another highlight of the Halal Japan Expo 2016 includes The Tokyo Modest Fashion Show 2016, partnered with Moslema In Style that will be held at the event - which is also the first fashion show in Japan to feature fashionable clothing for Muslim women.
Some of the main highlights of Halal Expo Japan 2016 include seminars on the impact of Halal tourism and the discussion of other important topics related to the industry with speakers from reputed businesses and industries. Halal Expo Japan Seminars – 22nd November 2016
The first day will start off with the Representative Director of Japan Inbound Solutions Co., Yoshiaki Nakamura giving the keynote speech for the event. He will also be part of a four member panel that includes:
- Shunsuke Takei, Secretary of Foreign Affairs
- Takuji Kawai, Sectional Chief of Tourism Department,Taito City
- Kunio Iijima, Assistant Manager of Secretariat, Asakusa Tourism Federation
The Yano Research Institute Special Seminar will be carried out with Retno Supeni, Council Minister of the Indonesian Embassy, Aya Kanbe, Primary Investigator of Yano Institute and Lukmanal Hakim, Director of LPPOM MUI.
The following seminar will be The Brunei Darussalam Halal Business Seminar that will feature important discussions and presentations designed for those who wish to venture into Halal business in Brunei.
Razali Ramli, Assistant Vice-president of Warees Halal Limited and Sami Hamdi, President and Editor in Chief of The International Interest will be the final speakers for the first day.
Halal Expo Japan Seminars – 23rd November 2016
The seminars on the second day will start with Yuki Yamada, Representative Director of Meisei Co. Ltd as a speaker followed by a seminar with Masaharu Imamura Vice-president of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University.
N. Kandel of the Foreign Student Support Department, Tomonokai Co. and Teppei Kawanishi Assistant Manager of Wire and Wireless Co. will be speaking at mid-day seminars during the event.
A seminar will be hosted by Nikkouken and Samurai Ramen with Dainari Goka Owner and Chef, Nikkouken Chairman and member of the Ryomo Muslim Inbound Promote Committee and Mr. Shigeki Shirasawa CEO of LADHIZEN and Director of Funfair.
Raudha Zaini, Marketing Manager of HalalTrip will also be speaking at the Japan Halal Expo 2016 about understanding Halal Travel.
The final speakers, Mr. Fahrul Irfan Member of Shariah Board, NPO Japan Halal Association and Dr. Eiichi Tamiya Vice-president of Japan Halal Research Centre will be holding a seminar on food safety.
