Opened in 1994, the Jin-Du Restaurant is managed by Mr. Wang Wen-cheng and his wife, Ms Lin Su-Chen. This enthusiastic couple turned their dreams into action and created another new legend of Puli in the midst of the beautiful mountains and intriguing cultures with creative gourmets. Puli is known for its beautiful endowment of the nature, with a range of famous products such as water bamboo, sugarcane, Shaoxing (yellow liquor), and more. With this mind set and their love for the land, for 20 years Mr. and Mrs. Wang insisted in using only the freshest local agricultural products and infused with the unique local cultures to create a lineup of amazing gourmet, including the Paper Sugarcane Pork, Vintage Shaoxing Drunken Shrimp, the Beauty Legs, and more. The special gourmet has attracted some famous gourmet lovers, including the Hong Kong column writer Cai Lan and Hong Kong sci-fi novelist Ni Kuang. The air of the Jin-Du Restaurant is infused not only the smell of great food but a unique aroma of arts and culture. It is in the décor, the landscape, the dinnerware, and deep into every corner. Sometimes, the ingenuity of artistry turns into poems and fuses into an inspiration of seasoning or plate decoration. The dining environment compliments the fine cuisine and brings you a very different experience of exquisite food culture.
