Crescent Rated Travel Agents

Travel agents in this directory are accredited by CrescentRating for Muslim-friendly travel advice. Accreditation confirms two things: the agency's staff are trained in the needs of Muslim travelers, and the agency has a documented process for handling requests about prayer, diet and other faith-based needs. It is a single accreditation rather than a graded rating.

Muslim travelers often have questions that a standard booking does not answer. Is there a place to pray near the hotel? Is the food on a tour Halal, and is it certified? Does the itinerary leave time for prayer? An accredited agent is expected to answer these questions, or to know where the answers can be found, so the traveler does not have to research each one alone. A wrong answer can cost a traveler a missed prayer or a meal they cannot eat.

Accreditation covers the agency's advisory service. The products an agency sells are rated separately. Hotels, attractions and activities each have their own CrescentRating standard, and tour operators are rated Bronze, Silver or Gold on itinerary design, Halal food partnerships, prayer-friendly scheduling and staff capability. An accredited agent can use these ratings to show clients what each part of a trip provides.

Agencies that would like to be accredited can contact the CrescentRating rating team. An agency appears in this directory once its accreditation is complete.
